In 1999. Dr. Behnam Ghasemzadeh came across an article that described the use of brain targets for treatment of memory diseases and Alzheimer’s. Despite struggles finding funding and patent approval, preliminary experiments showed promise in treatment of schizophrenia. Ten years later Avimed Pharma was founded in 200g.

Our Vision
To develop a first in class medication for treatment of cognitive dysfunction that exists in Schizophrenia, and a range of other mental disorders, without serious side effects. These dysfunctions are shared amongst a range of other CNS disorders such as autism. depression. and Alzheimer’s. Through these treatments we seek to improve the quality of life of individuals and their families who suffer from these disorders
